The Polk Audio S35 center channel speaker has a low body height with a considerable length and is perfect for placement under a large TV or projection screens. In order to keep the speaker cabinet as narrow as possible while maintaining sound richness and convincing bass levels, the Polk audio S35 are equipped with six woofers. The speaker is equipped with a proprietary Power Port bass-reflex, the outlets of which are located on the rear panel. They are covered with special diffuser grilles, which also have holes for hanging the Polk Audio S35 on the wall. The phase inverter features low acoustic noise and 3dB higher efficiency compared to traditional designs. The speaker cabinet is available in black walnut or brown walnut. Deep damping and internal tie-downs of the speaker cabinet prevent sound coloration at high listening volumes.

The woofers in the speaker system are 3 inches in diameter and feature mica-reinforced polypropylene cones. The woofers are made using Dynamic Balance technology, which ensured their maximum return in the entire frequency range, and a significant reduction in audible distortion. The speakers are precisely matched in terms of characteristics for synchronous operation, and taking into account the total area of their cones, the Polk Audio S35 speaker delivers quite deep bass. In the middle of the front panel of the speaker system there is a tweeter with a special curvilinear geometry Terylene dome.
