Affiliate Disclosure
How future commercial relationships will be disclosed and kept separate from editorial conclusions.
Build a Web Site may use affiliate links in some articles. If a reader follows an affiliate link and makes a purchase, the site may receive a commission without increasing the reader’s price.
Commercial relationships do not determine the editorial conclusion. A product should not be labelled “best” solely because an affiliate programme is available. Comparisons should explain who a product suits, where it is limited and what alternatives should be considered.
Articles containing affiliate links should display a clear disclosure close to those links. The editorial team should retain a record of active programmes, link destinations and the date on which commercial terms were checked.
